In short

The software runs on your computer, without an account and without sending your images or usage data anywhere. We only handle the minimum needed to sell you a licence and answer your emails.

The software

Your scans, projects and settings stay on your computer. The licence key is checked offline, inside the application. The software does not collect analytics or telemetry.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which collects the details needed for the sale (name, email, country, payment method) under its own privacy policy. Paddle sends us the order and your email address, which we use to generate your licence key and email it to you. We keep it to resend the key and support you, for as long as the licence is in use or the law requires (invoicing records).

Email

When you write to us, we use your message and address only to reply. We do not send newsletters or marketing, and we never sell or share your data.

This website

The site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security, for a short period. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. The checkout window is provided by Paddle and may use its own cookies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to support@ds-remover.com. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD, www.cnpd.pt).
